Redd Rose Vodka is a brand that celebrates the hard work and contributions of women in the spirits industry.

Created by Taylor Redd, this Strawberry-Lemon Vodka is named after her grandmother Rose Redd — a trailblazing entrepreneur who created a safe space for women during a time when it was not fashionable.

Mt. Pleasant Club Whiskey - Ingleside Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey Single Barrel

Just won Platinum Medal at Las Vegas Wine & Spirits Competition!  

This Pennsylvania-style rye, with a mash bill of 45% unmalted rye, 30% malted rye, 24% malted barley and 1% chocolate malt, celebrates Ingleside Terrace. Ingleside is a tight-knit community that touches the city and forest. In the shape of an inverted U, it feels isolated from the urban core of Mt. P. and is currently known for its constant flow of babies being born, children running free, and epic block parties. Also mating nearby, the Douglass Commonwealth’s state bird, the Wood Thrush, can be found nesting in Rock Creek Park just west of Ingleside. Walt Whitman and John Borroughs often walked these woods and identified the bird in its DC environs.

Harvard Street Smoke American Single Malt Whiskey

Distilled from Cherry and Applewood-smoked Barley
 

This distinctive single malt has a unique mash bill of 50% cherrywood and 50% applewood smoked malt. Harvard Street Smoke was aged at least 5 years 6 months and was bottled at a proof of 88.

This batch is dedicated to the “foremost classical music satirist of all time,” Professor Peter Schickele, who lived on Harvard Street for part of his childhood. Schickele’s alter-ego, “P.D.Q. Bach (1807-1742),” is known as “the pimple on the face of music.” Mt. Pleasant artist, Nicholas Ledyard, brought his unique paper art talent to this label. The stunning label art is based on the photo of Professor Schickele by Peter Schaaf, captioned “P.D.Q. Bach being rewarded for his (dis)service to classical music”.

Mt. Pleasant’s western boundary, Rosemount Avenue, was created as part of the Rosemount Park subdivision in April 1887 (most of which is now part of Rock Creek). The beautiful monotype on this label is by Mt. Pleasant artist, Josie Vosoba. It features the site of Rosemount’s Spanish Colonial style “House of Mercy,” which opened in October 1911 as a “refuge and reformatory” for unwed expecting mothers, now a preschool for many local families.

Inside the bottle, you’ll find the result of our beloved Kilbourne Place Rye gestating in a Cotton & Reed rum barrel for four trimesters – she turned out great, down to earth with a subtle wild side! Aged for 6 years and coming in at 92 proof, there were only 264 bottles of Rosemount produced - get yours before they’re gone!
